These days, new premium varieties of peaches and nectarines are arriving: the characteristics change, and it becomes even more important to taste and compare before choosing.
One of the big highlights of the Italian summer continues: the sauce tomato, in the peak of its season.
Today's picks also include fresh chard and purple eggplants, which we can still find in excellent quality from Southern Italy.
From Abruzzo, instead, come some beautiful black figs.
And then the beans: the finally milder weather is bringing back their color and quality.
