Your eyes on the Italian market.
Buying Italian fruit and vegetables from abroad is easy.
Knowing what is really worth buying today is much harder.
Commerfrutta was created for international buyers, importers and distributors who want to have someone in Italy who does not just receive an order and find merchandise. They want someone who, every morning, is in the market for them.
LET'S
OBSERVE. LET'S COMPARE. LET'S SELECT. This is the Commerfrutut Method.
Not a market. A network.
Our logistics center is located inside the Verona Fruit and Vegetable Market, in the heart of one of the main European fruit and vegetable centers.
But choosing only between what a market offers still means being limited to that market.
For this reason, every morning our team also moves between other markets and producers in Northern Italy, comparing at least 60 different suppliers on a daily basis.
Because there is a fundamental difference between finding a product and being able to choose between multiple alternatives.
And if those who buy for you look in one place, you'll never know what they might have found elsewhere.
As you start your day, we've already chosen.
04:00 — Let's start with the markets
When most of Europe has yet to start the day, our team is already on the line. Let's start with the Verona Market and our network of markets and producers in Northern Italy.
04:00 — 08:00 — Let's observe. Let's compare. Let's select.
These are the hours dedicated to the choice. We see the product, touch it, taste it when necessary and compare availability, origins, variety, maturation, quality and price. At least 60 suppliers, every morning, before deciding what to buy.
08:00 — 10:00 — Preparation and quality control
The selected goods arrive at our logistics center. The orders are prepared and the product is checked again before departure. Choosing well is not enough: we also want to control what we are about to ship.
By 12:00 — We ship
The orders are ready to go to our customers. In a few hours we went from market research to selection, from control to shipment. And the next day we start from scratch.
We don't choose from a desk.
A price list can tell about origin, variety, caliber and price. He can't tell you all about the product.
Fruit and vegetables must be seen, touched, tasted and compared.
This is why we don't stay in the office waiting for offers from suppliers. We are physically in the merchandise, every day.
Because when those who buy for you don't see the product directly, someone will have to discover its quality instead. And that someone could be your customer.
We don't have to sell you what we have.
A producer can know perfectly well what he grows. But it can offer you what it produces. Those who have already purchased merchandise can offer you what they have available.
We have chosen to eliminate this constraint. We don't have a production to place and we don't buy first to look for the customer later.
First comes your request. Then we search, compare, select and buy.
The question we ask ourselves every morning is not: “What do we have to sell today? ” But: “What is really worth buying today for this customer? ”
Distance shouldn't force you to buy blindly.
When you buy from abroad, you cannot be in the Italian markets at 4 in the morning. You can't see all the alternatives. You can't open a case, check the product, taste it and compare it with that of the next supplier.
Someone has to do it for you.
If it doesn't, you might still receive exactly what you ordered.
But you'll never know if it's really what you should buy.
This is the distance we want to eliminate.
YOUR EYES ON THE ITALIAN MARKET.
You tell us what you are looking for. At 4:00 we are on the markets. Until 8:00 we observe, compare and select. From 8:00 to 10:00 we prepare and check. We ship by 12:00 p.m. And tomorrow we'll start again.
LET'S
OBSERVE. LET'S COMPARE. LET'S SELECT.
