THE CHOICES OF THE DAY — Monday, October 12, 2026
Today we start with a question.
If in front of you there was a Sicilia Datterino and a Kubello, which would you choose?
The answer, as often happens in our work, is: it depends.
It depends on what you need it for, the client you’re buying for, the taste you’re looking for, the firmness, the ripeness, and the timing.
And that’s exactly the point: there isn’t always a single best product. There is the product that best fits that particular request.
Then the market tells us that the season is changing.
The first Italian citrus fruits are starting to arrive, the ones that come before clementines.
We still find October Sun plums, carrying with them the last colors of the late season.
And then there’s Ligurian black cabbage, one of those products that immediately makes us understand that autumn is really entering the market.
Different products. Different moments. Different needs.
Our method, on the other hand, always stays the same:
Observe.
Compare.
Select.
