This is Ghio's Frutteria, Castel Goffredo, and I represent the third generation of this business. It all started with my grandmother in 1937 and in the 70s my father, the son of Porrini Virginia, took over. Between 2000 and 2004, I and my brother-in-law continued this activity. We started with only fresh fruit and vegetables, then over time a few refined products were added as far as canning is concerned, which allows for a long shelf life, however, our prevalence has always remained fresh.

To maintain a very high quality in the products we sell, we obviously have to try harder, and these efforts translate into having to go to the market early in the morning. To alleviate this difficulty, we have chosen to rely on Commerfrutta, which is our main supplier and allows us to take better care of the store.

When I think of Frutteria di Ghio, I think of an activity, of people, who espouse the same values as Commerfruttura. I have always seen their evolution historically, so with Simona and Claudio, the desire to change and add, in addition to quality, service.
