The Agridam farm is located in the southernmost tip of Sicily, about 300 meters from the sea in the town of Portopale di Capo Passero, in the Pipitona district, where we grow only marinda and oxheart tomatoes. In the Saiazza district, in the territory of Pachino, we produce cherry and date tomatoes. Our mission has always been to produce high quality tomatoes, while respecting nature and man. The motto of the owner, Dr. D'Amico, is “to produce little but to produce well.”
Our structures are all equipped with plastic films, shade nets and insect nets. Since this winter, we have also added stoves to avoid thermal stress on plants and fruits. Thanks to marketing strategies and commercial agreements with the fruit and vegetable markets of Milan, Brescia, Verona and Florence, we are able to offer our customers a fresh and healthy product within 48 hours of harvest. We are present in these markets for ten months a year.
